Bharat and Swasth Bharat, Dr. Swapna Verma has launched the “Heal Rural India” initiative—a heartfelt mission
to bring sustainable, preventive healthcare to the doorsteps of India’s most underserved rural and tribal
communities. Dr. Verma believes that establishing a strong culture of preventive care is not just essential—it
is urgent. She envisions a future where timely diagnosis, early intervention, and grassroots awareness can
shield the nation from major health crises. According to her, only through community-based health education
and proactive medical outreach can India move towards becoming truly Bimari Mukt—free from preventable
illnesses. This vision is not just theoretical—it is already being turned into reality in the villages of Satna
district, where the “Heal Rural India” model is being implemented household by household, creating a blueprint
of how innovation, compassion, and action can transform rural healthcare from the ground up. To propel this
campaign forward, she inaugurated the Clean Clinic on Wheels service equipped with state-of-the-art medical
facilities. This hospital on wheels travels to remote areas of Satna district, providing health services
directly to those deprived of medical facilities due to lack of awareness. The initiative also informs people
about various health-related schemes of the central government, including distributing free medicines.{hedding1}
